Science Advisory Panel for Human Health Risk Assessment
Panelist will be providing guidance to conducting a quantitative human health risk assessment for a chemical under U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). This will include exposure assessment (e.g., occupational, general public) and toxicity assessment (toxicity values, margin of exposure). Experience in using biomarker data (hemoglobin adducts) to support dosimetry decisions and/or Cox proportional hazards modeling is also useful.
SciPinion is recruiting experts in exposure assessment, biomarker interpretation (hemoglobin adducts), toxicity assessment, occupational exposure limits, and risk assessment to serve on an expert panel to provide guidance key decisions to be made in conducting a quantitative human health risk assessment for a chemical under TSCA. Experience in using biomarker data (hemoglobin adducts) to support dosimetry decisions is useful.
Work Description
- Review summary documents and key papers/reports pertinent literature (~10 publications)
- Provide professional opinion/answer ~25-30 charge questions
Review Format
- Take part in multi-round review (modified Delphi format)
Blinding
- Double blinded during peer review panel recruitment, selection and engagement
- Experts identity will be disclosed post-review, in a report of the findings after the review. Individual responses to charge questions will not be linked to individual panelists

Approximately 22 to 28 hours
