Toxicity Data Review for a Fungicide Metabolite

SciPinion is seeking experts in assessing and interpreting toxicology data to review summary data (e.g., developmental, 2-generation reproductive, 14-, 28- and 90-day toxicity studies) for a metabolite of a triazole fungicide, and give opinions on the weight of evidence and potential implications for fungicide registration in the European Union. The parameters of this assignment are below:

Compensation: $2,500 (USD) per reviewer
Panel Composition

Experts in EU regulatory toxicology assessments/ ECHA, EFSA risk assessment and registration;
Reproductive and developmental toxicity experts; and/or
Experts in liver and thyroid effects (e.g., data for PXR, UGT activation).

Recruitment Period: Present ~ March 22, 2021
Review Format:
- Level 2
- Blinding: reviewers and sponsor will remain anonymous during the review; panel participant identities will be included in the review report, but will not be linked to specific answers.
- 2 Rounds: 1) review material & answer charge questions; 2) answer any follow-up questions from the sponsor

Work Description:
- Review of summary material that encompasses ~55 pages of data summary text and tables
- Answer ~5-10 charge questions

Level of Effort:
- ~12 hours

- Approximately March 26 - April 23, 2021

- None (all interaction conducted online)
