SciPinion has been commissioned to convene an esteemed panel of the world's experts in vehicle safety testing and autonomous vehicle technology to assess the overall reliability in driving data generated to date.

SciPinion has been commissioned to convene an esteemed  panel of the world's experts in vehicle safety testing and autonomous vehicle technology to assess the overall reliability in driving data generated to date.  The experts will be required to review unpublished reports on actual safety data from autonomous driven vehicle fleet and associated data.  This effort will be the first in several activities on this topic. Experts may be engaged for follow up work.  The findings from this panel will be used to help decision makers make more informed decisions about the safety of autonomous vehicles and how to regulate this technology. 

The specifics of this assignments are as follows:

  • Blinding
    • All experts will remain anonymous to each other during all online deliberations
    • Experts identity will be revealed in a report, but answers will not be tied to individuals
    • All experts will remain blinded to the sponsor
  • Review materials
    • Phase 1: one unpublished report (three reports being peer reviewed in total)
    • Phase 2: Findings from all three peer reviews plus additional data
  • Time required: 14-20 hours
  • Compensation 
    • $3,600
  • Assignment dates
    • Start: ~July 1, 2023
    • End: ~August 15, 2023
