The range of parameters is too limited e.g. power, ICC. The calculators only work with a single value at a time. It would be much more user-friendly if they allowed for a range of inputs and provided a range of acceptable outputs. I also find the lack of options to select different outputs, such as Relative Risk versus Odds Ratio, to be a significant limitation.

Very user friendly, the output is clear.

They would be more user-friendly with the changes I recommended above, especially for non-statisticians.  They would also benefit from inclusion (or at least discussion) of within-person variability in outcome measurement.

I am answering a question about how how user-friendly are the calculators.  For how useful they are see answer to 2.4

I like these calculators, they were fun and easy to use. I really like that they provide graphs showing the comparisons, which also provides the user with ideas about how output will change if a single variable is either increased or decreased.

The instructions are clear and relatively easy to understand.  The major impediment is that researchers may not have values of all the input parameters available to them.  I have some suggestions for that in my general comments below.

Seem to be userfriendly to me. I would have to test them for various datasets/studies to check if anything is missing/confusing, but based on my review so far they seem easy to use.

The calculators are designed with a user-friendly interface, making them accessible even to those without advanced statistical training. The use of sliders, input fields, both tabulated and visualized outputs, along with clear instructions and examples, simplifies the process of inputting data and interpreting results. This makes them a valuable resource for researchers who need to design epidemiological studies but may not have extensive statistical expertise. Their ease of use and accessibility make them a practical tool for improving study design.

Please note that I answered the question whether the calculators were "user-friendly" not if they were extremely useful.  I think there was an error in the response categories.
