Why some journals did not accept the bibliometric or scientometric based papers? since this is the techniques to identify the current trends of any selected field in science.

I want to know (in a paragraph form) on how we can share the opportunity of this writing techniques of bibliometric or scientometric based papers with others too

Yes, there may be reasons to reject publications on scientometric investigations, but the topic has a high priority among scientists. An example is: Front Pharmacol 2020, 11, 842. This is a perfect paper related to DILI (drug induced liver injury).

This is not a yes/no question and answer. There are tons of reasons of desk rejection. But it does not mean that "journals do not accept such kind of paper."

At least what I have observed, Systematic reviews and bibliometric analyses are not widely recognized as a "research paper"; instead, they are considered as "reviews", similarly to State of the Art, os Scope manuscripts. They are usually not considered as a "study", eventhought they do have a methodology, analyses and reproductible methodology.

It might be because the topic of the submitted manuscript (bibliometric and scientometric) does not fit the aim and scope of the manuscript. There are journals such as Scientometrics and Journal of Informetrics that publish such submissions. Other common cause would be lack of novelty in the submission. Journals prefer to publish original reports.

Because the trend is to privilegiate researchers with a high level of testing , laboratorial or modeling methods . They are more inovative and can increase the volume of discovers in sciences.

This is a question I pondered a lot, especially when a paper is sent back without sending to reviewers while meeting all aspects of the publication for that journal, I think this to be unfair to the authors; I understand this when a paper is not meeting the scope of the journal. I found few journals to be more accepting than others. I think this is due to the number of papers they receive which may be not possible to publish and thus first-cut by the editors by rejecting before sending to review.

It is possible that the editor values these kinds of paper but prefer not to have in his journal due to other constraints or preference for original research.
