Any AI company that relies on disclaimers is admitting that its model is incompetent. Any AI company that does not rely on disclaimers is lying. Not much to trust there.

When I listen to AI developers, I feel that they must be prosecuted. Either for deliberate complicity in creating of a dystopia or for stupidity, not sure which, but I definitely can't trust them.

I find Google to be more transparent and more trustworthy, even though ChatGPT currently performs better and better meets my needs. My opinion is based on my long history of using Google's services and on the confidence and transparency that I associate with the company.

To be fair, I haven't used all of them, but most of them. However, I prefer dealing with Gemini and Perplexity because, in my personal experience, the data they provide is well-documented and mostly unambiguous.

We cannot rely on any AI service provider yet completely it still needs a very good professionally and soundly made prompt and a good clinical expertise personal need to review everything still to check how reliable and certainly the  AI system will keep on getting improved with more data being added with more flexible to given to the system by the providers once the AI systems get matured enough to give hundred percent reliable and certain time information. Until this moment, no AI system usage without supervision by an expert is not advised.

Confidence should depend less on the developer and more on how easily assumptions, methods, and results can be independently challenged.

Ethics... OpenAI accepted the proposal that the US government offered to anthropic afther this rejected.

ChatGPT has been for me a useful tool and I think that is the result of the fact that I have specialized in using it. I have learned to interact succesfully with ChatGPT. It gives me assurance of some aspects where I need help, in particular spelling, grammar and clarity of the texts that I have written.

It is probably unwise to put too much trust in any given company. Try various ones and examine results for yourself.

  • OpenAI (ChatGPT)

My main experience is with OpenAI, so I can't really judge the others. Close colleagues report that Claude is also reliable, and they use it to check outputs from Chat GPT

Although AI is a poweful tool, it has many limitations, such as biases depending on the developer. It can always be manipulated to guive you the information they want you to have, but not necessarily information that expresses certainty though scientific rigor. It can be very helpful for proofreading and spelling, but it can never replace human expertise, especially the role of scientific rigos in reviewing and undertanding the reserch context and generation new knowledge.

I don't completey rely on AI assistance as AI itself always give a notification that AI can make mistakes. I prefer verifying the AI response via scientific research and reviews.

I trust OpenAI because I have had the most experience using ChatGPT in my research and clinical work. It is useful for literature review, manuscript preparation, and improving scientific writing. At the same time, I always verify important information before applying it in research or patient care.

I do not pay (yet) any specific model and use open ones. When I ask a specific professional question and get answer, I double check it. Open Claude is very reliable. If I can issue a rank among open sourse LLM, I would say: Claude, Gemini, Deep Seek, but do not have experience with Llama and Grok.

I trust our organisation's IT experts to provide guidance and direction on this. currently CoPilot is the organisational AI platform, however its shortcomings in capability are recognized. Our organisation is not willing to make Claude the trusted AI platform.

Trust is an evolving concept in the AI world. The capability of agents is not well understood. It seems to me we are underestimating AI capability.
