I would like to answer this question “no” because I believe that over my long career at EPA and beyond I have demonstrated impartiality and lack of bias. However, I know of instances where those who simply wish to apply a “litmus test” to evaluate impartiality conclude that anyone who has ever worked for industry, in any way, is not impartial. Thus, while I have no doubt that my advice will be impartial, as it always has been, I recognize that, given my work for agrochemical companies, there may be some who would question my impartiality. Thus, I checked the “I cannot answer” box
